The Pre-school is situated on the first floor and accommodates up to 16 children.
Staff
Mrs Kulsum Yacob is the Deputy Manager at Little Angels; she is also the Pre-School leader and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO)
Qualifications: DCE level 3 Nursery Nurse.
Miss Rachel O'Donnell is also a team leader in Pre-School.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Education, Teacher status.
Children aged between three and five are constantly encountering new experiences and seeking to understand them in order to extend their skills. The Early Years Foundation Stage outline early learning goals, which most children are expected to achieve by the end of their reception year at school.
The Pre-School room is open plan, allowing children to move freely and experience all areas of continuous provision. These areas are as follows: -
Construction
Small world
Water play
Sand play
Painting
Mark making
Malleable
Role play
Work shop
In all these areas children will learn though play, which is developed though a range of learning experiences, which are well planned for your child to develop their maximum, potential.
Outdoor provision is provided within our three playgrounds. Children access the outdoors environments mid-morning, after dinner time, ad again mid-afternoon all year.
